Hollywood,or originally, Hollyrood (from the Scottish Holyrood), is a neighborhood of many older Portland homes, tree lined streets and families and their pets out for a walk. It is conveniently located for transportation, from Max light rail, to I-84, to Sandy and NE Broadway. Its 1920's theatre, seasonal farmers' market along with shopping, restaurants, high walkability scores make it a sought after residential neighborhood. Plus, the neighborhood was a special feature in the Klickitat Series by author Beverly Cleary.
