Grant Park Neighborhood

Home in Portland's Grant Park Neighborhood

The Grant Park neighborhood's trees have a flowering beauty in the spring and kaleidoscopic whirl of color in autumn that rival anywhere! And they're good for shady walks in the summer too. This is a casual and comfortable residential neighborhood of classic vintage Portland homes. And they are surrounded by the convenience of the shopping and dining districts along NE Fremont, NE Broadway and in Hollywood. But the center of the neighborhood is Grant Park and Grant High School. Tennis courts, swimming pool, track, sports fields, dog area, and play grounds make this a neighborhood meeting place and focus.

The neighborhood of Grant Park in Portland Oregon, named in honor of President Ulysses S. Grant, is a beautiful historic neighborhood, as well as a great place to live. Located in the inner Northeast part of the city, it has all the advantages that the city has to offer, but it also has the fine Old Homes that Portland Oregon is known for. The Park, in the center of the neighborhood, is known as one the city’s finest, and features the Beverly Cleary Sculpture Garden for Children.

The Max light rail system and Tri-Met busses provide direct connections between the Grant Park Neighborhood, Portland and all other parts of the city. There is also a streetcar downtown, making it easy to get around. If you have a bike, you're in luck. There are bike lanes everywhere as well as other green features that will contribute to a continued increase in value of Real Estate in Grant Park, Portland.
