Transportation

The Max light rail system and Tri-met busses pervade the city and its outskirts. There is also a streetcar downtown, making it easy to get around. If you have a bike, you're in luck. There are bike lanes everywhere.

Portland has one of the U.S.'s most environmentally aware populaces, food for the discriminating diner, the home chef and farmer's market aficionado. All this and more makes up the bouquet the Northwest calls The Rose City.
